This website is owned by Natalie Cherrix, licensed clinical social worker of and is provided as a service for the Seaford, Delaware community.  The site complies with all US federal laws regarding the collection and use of the personal information of its website visitors. Specifically, you are covered by this policy if you contact Ms Cherrix through an email form. Every attempt is made to keep this policy in line with current legal requirements. 


Information Collection

Any information requested from you by the email contact form is considered voluntarily provided. ​All information collected in sending an email appointment request form is safeguarded to the highest degree possible in the internet age. If you become a counseling client, your initial appointment request might be printed out or electronically stored in your client file. None of your personal information will ever be released to third parties for marketing purposes. 

Visitors to this website are never required to register or provide contact information in order to read this website, or its psycho-educational blog posts.  It is not required to contact Natalie Cherrix by email -- telephoning for an appointment is an acceptable form of communication, but may have its own privacy limitations not covered by this policy page.

Under the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (aka, HIPAA), you will be required to provide additional personal and medical information when contracting for counseling services. Specific limitations on privacy under HIPAA are outlined in an additional document here.

Your Access to and Control Over Information 

You may inquire about or change the contact information Ms Cherrix has on file for you at any time, and request for the information to be updated or deleted to the extent required by law.  


From time to time for academic or research purposes, we may share aggregated demographic information with scholars, teachers, and government agencies. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.


Security of Sensitive Financial Information

Sensitive information such as credit card data is not collected via this website. Any collection of sensitive information for the purpose of making payment for clinical services is done in person in the office and not online.



"Cookies" may be used on this site to help identify which pages and blog topics were of interest to you. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to improve your access to the website and identify repeat visitors. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.

This site also provides information about available emotional help for women who are struggling to become pregnant, or are having distressing emotional challenges during pregnancy.
